What started out as a passion for music and entertaining, gloriously landed her a dream job as a VJ with MTV. Maz was the original host of its flagship show Total Request Live (TRL). During her 5 years with MTV, Maz travelled the globe attending music festivals and interviewed pretty much every celebrity including her girl crush Sandra Bullock, super producer and hip hop star Kanye West, from the biggest bands including Coldplay, Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers to pop icons Lady Gaga and Katy Perry and Aussie stars Wolfmother, Guy Sebastian and Margot Robbie. Back in Australia she hosted the MTV Video Music Awards and ARIA Red Carpet Specials and was nominated for most popular female presenter in 2008.

Maz found herself on a late night radio show in 2010 and rose to the heights of radio fame in just a few years. By 2014 she was crowned Cosmopolitan's Women of the Year in Radio, then in 2015, Maz headed to the US for RedBull TV to host their global live TV events while also hosting a Sydney breakfast radio show, Dan & Maz.

After over a decade of fun making headlines and memories in the media, Maz redirected her attention to health and wellness. She is a qualified Wellness Coach, owns an F45 fitness studio and is an author and podcaster.

Maz believes we can live our best life without alcohol, sober since 2015, Maz created Last Drinks, a podcast for the sober curious, and had written a sober living handbook, Last Drinks, for anyone thinking about trying sobriety but unsure of where to start. She has most recently curated an audio series, Booze Break, crafted for anyone who wants to take a break from booze to reassess their relationship with it.

In 2020, Maz returned to radio, her happy place, and continues to host breakfast radio on the Central Coast. When she's not on-air Maz loves being at the beach with her family, thrives in the outdoors, and on the Pickleball court!

Maz has fast become Australia's most popular sobriety expert and anyone who works with her sings her praises.
